Are we talking "vlyublen" ili "lyubit"? Vlyublennost' vidno po znakam vnimaniya i "Starry Eyes", a vot "lyubov" eto nachinaet'sya s vzaimnosti and unconditional acceptance. Nu i voprosik... I don't want to change the direction of your topic, but just want to say that it's just as hard to figure out if YOU love somebody. But I think once YOU have loved and know what it feels like, it's easier to tell if the other person loves you. And also, love is composed of many things: "vnimaniye" (flowers, remembering your anniversary), "attraction" (sparks that fly between you, starry eyes), "friendship" (just being there in difficult times and just having fun, and arguing and making up)... So you have to look at all those things (and many more) to see if the person loves you. And, of course, everybody has their own combination of those.

People lie, fake, act, pretend.. for a thousand different reasons! Even after someone tells me to my face that he loves me, it can take me months, years even, to believe him! A vse tut pryamo tak vse znayut.. "just know".. How do you know?! How can you trust someone like that? Natash, the eyes can lie, can't they??

Quick comparison ig i can use it. NOTHING is for sure. every action is a gamble, some of them just have better odds to get an expected result. but nothing is for sure. when people say they "just know" that means they ready(i.e. ppl feel like odds will not get better) to gamble (i.e. to take action) in order to commit
