i think he meant "far away" in terms of time.. as in a month away.. which is not that far, btw! if we're talking about reserving cabins/etc. I do think that the fun is in the bonding that you get from living w/ people. ok..let's get back from winking to discussion on TN thing (or whatever the destination that is....) .. if we get let's say around 10 people it could be around 120 bucks a person for 3 nights plus food and well other stuff... wouldnt be THAT bad... but who wants to go still is in the air right???

hey all, i read it carefully again.. so, are we talking about 4 days (including friday and 4th of July), or ? i don't think i can take a friday off :-( If we would go say friday afternoon, reached there that night, so it'd be 2 nites - fri, and sat, and we could drive back on Sunday late afternoon. Tennessi is close enough i guess. We've done it - with white water rafting and everything. There was plenty of time for all kinds of experiences (including pouring rain in the leaking tent :-) )

Polin, how we want to do it depends on everyone's schedules. We could go for a long 4-day weekend (Thur. - Sun.). Then those who can't come for that long, can just drive up on Friday night. OR we could go the way you suggested Fri. - Sun. Just 2 days, but cheaper and no need to take off work. 4 days might even be too much time in TN anyway.
