Senior Professional Services Consultant

SUMMARY:
Northwest Atlanta based company is seeking Senior Professional Services Consultant applicants. We are expanding
our team to accommodate rapid growth stemming from new strategic partnerships with leading global software and
virtualization companies. This is a very exciting opportunity for those who qualify!
Racemi’s DynaCenter is a next-generation server imaging and migration technology with built-in support for physical
and virtual migration, disaster recovery, and image capture and deployment across dissimilar hardware.
The Senior Professional Services Consultant role is a customer facing role, aimed at providing customers with in-depth
support on the implementation and configuration of Racemi's DynaCenter data center management software.
Responsibilities of this position include:
•
Participate in all technical aspects of the product implementation, including script development, installation of
the products, configuring the managed hardware platforms and software images.
•
Support pre-sales technical activities, solution design, and detailed implementation delivery planning.
•
Work with partners to design and implement integration of DynaCenter with third party systems managent
software.
•
Research and evaluate third party hardware and software products for potential integration with Racemi
products.
•
Mentor other consulants, evaluate their work on joint projects, and provide feedback.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•
Ten years IT industry experience.
•
Experience delivering consulting services for external customers.
•
Experience delivering technical training.
•
Experience providing technical support in a Support Center environment a plus.
•
Knowledge of networking, client/server applications and systems administration to include
•
Deep knowledge of Linux, UNIX (AIX, Solaris, and HP-UX), and Microsoft Windows Server
operating systems in the following areas: System administration, troubleshooting, Network
configuration, Storage configuration, Installation, and Device driver configuration.
• Experience with network device configuration and administration. This includes switches, hubs,
and routers, as well as DNS, network load balancers, AD, firewalls, DHCP servers, and PXE
services.
• Experience configuring and managing SAN and NAS storage. This includes NFS, Fibre Channel,
and iSCSI.
•
Experience designing data center architecture and infrastructure management solutions.
•
Experience with disaster recovery implementations a plus.
•
Experience with virtualization platforms specifically including VMware.
•
Ability to write user-friendly, easy to maintain, yet complex shell scripts as part of field implementations or product
prototypes.
•
Excellent practical working ability with Unix and Windows Server utilities and security tools
•
Software development experience a plus.
•
Network, OS, or Storage certifications are a plus (e.g., CCNA, MSCE, RHCE, etc.)
•
Experience writing technical documents for external and internal audiences.
•
Experience participating in large and complex project teams.
